The Peet's Coffee Barista ensures service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase and preparation; as well as provide customers and fellow Team Members with a friendly, upbeat and clean atmosphere in this Food Court outlet.
The hourly starting rate for this position is $14.

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino's Winning Attitude Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino's AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
Welcome and connect with every customer to provide excellent customer service.
Discover customers' needs and appropriately suggest additional products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
Assist customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and retail items.
Respond to customers' needs and say thank you to every customer.
Maintain customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Week to Peet's Coffee standards.
Follow policies and procedures for operational flow at each station.
Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards and works as a team player.
Present oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication by using Four Diamond Service Standards with all customer and Team Member interactions.
Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with preventative maintenance checklist.
Follow cash handling and register policies.
Follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
Learn and demonstrate all performance standards by completing Initial Store Training and passing barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess or obtain a California Food Handler Card.
