Lead Housekeeper at Thunder Valley Casino Resort Lincoln, CA 95648
The Housekeeping Lead will inspect guest rooms after Guest Room Attendants have fully cleaned them to ensure department cleaning standards are met.
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Is responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino Resort's Winning Attitude company-wide culture and demonstrating AAA Four Diamond guest service standards at all times.
Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Notifies Housekeeping Management if rooms do not meet quality standards and directs Guest Room Attendant to correct any issues until the room meets standards of cleanliness and brand requirements.
Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked.
Ensure rooms are completed to standard in a timely manner.
Work with Housepersons to maintain cleanliness of hallways and landings.
Maintain cleanliness of hotel hallways, stairwells and elevators.
Support GRAs by ensuring they have all equipment needed.
Update room status upon guest departures.
Communicate any housekeeping delays or issues to Status Board Operator and make necessary changes to room status.
Replace Do-Not-Disturb and Refused-Service rooms and ensure GRAs are meeting room credit expectations.
Input maintenance requests as needed and ensure unacceptable rooms are not released back to inventory until items are addressed.
Follow up on each maintenance request with Status Board Operator.
Ensure lines of communication are open with the Housepersons and GRAs.
Ensure work area is clean when finished.
Maintain daily paperwork.
Provides support to Housekeeping Management to ensure that guests' experience meets or exceed Four Diamond Standards.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
Previous experience as a Guest Room Attendant preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate by telephone, radio and pager.
Must be able to sit or stand for the duration of shift.
