Currently enrolled in a two-year Community College or a four-year college or university in order to model college enrollment for AVID students. Must be familiar and comfortable with Honors and AP classes at the High School level. Under the direction of the site administrator and/or AVID Program coordinator/teacher facilitates the Socratic method of tutoring for College-Preparatory reading, math, science, foreign language, and social science tutoring services to students enrolled in AVID classes. This is a one-year contracted position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
