Following is a brief description for the position: Director of Marketing
Position Description
Assist the Vice President of Marketing in the design and implementation of Casino Marketing programs. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Advertising, Promotions and Rewards Departments. With direction from Executive Management Team develops advertising and promotion strategies to meet monthly and annual objectives. Ensures that Advertising, Promotions and Thunder Rewards Departments work within established financial guidelines.
Essential Functions
Provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to the Marketing Team ensuring that the mission and core values of the organization are put into practice.
Assist in the development of marketing programs, recommends to the Vice President of Marketing the level of involvement of internal and contracted resources.
Works with the Vice President of Marketing to ensure the effective implementation of marketing programs, responsible for carrying out the operational day-to-day activities.
Responsible for monitoring local/regional competition to ensure company marketing programs remain timely and effective.
Coaches and develops employees to achieve expected goals by maintaining a consistent approachable demeanor and articulates department expectations.
Responsible for monitoring industry developments/improvements to ensure marketing programs are effective and encourage a high level of Guest satisfaction.
Developing and managing policies, procedures and execution plans for Property and Social Promotions, Partnerships, External Event Activation including but not limited to the Summer Concert Amphitheatre, Call Center, and Thunder Rewards Departments.
Grow T Rewards membership with focused acquisition initiatives on property and at off-site events utilizing latest wireless technology to ensure sign up process is seamless and actuate.
Budget development and oversight.
Responsible for integration of the day-to-day marketing programs to ensure marketing Team Members interactions with our guest achieve desired marketing objectives.

Bachelors degree in Business Management/Marketing or an equivalent amount of experience. Minimum of 5 years prior Gaming experience including extensive knowledge of Casino Advertising and Promotion Programs.
Prior experience managing a Casino Rewards Center required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
