Responsibilities:
1.
Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
2.
Manage all front desk activities, including incoming calls, appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient record maintenance.
3.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, billing inquiries, and service questions.
4.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
5.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
6.
Handle patient billing and process insurance claims.
7.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
8.
Manage emergencies effectively, coordinating with the medical team and providing necessary information.
9.
Keep up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 2
years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, preferably in the dental or medical industry.
2.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis.
3.
Experience in handling patient scheduling and insurance claims.
4.
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
5.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6.
Proficiency in using computer software and office equipment.
7.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multitask.
8.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9.
Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
10.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Degree in medical administration or related field is a plus.
